PALOLO ZEN CENTER

The Palolo Zen Center sits on 13 acres of conservation land located near the end of the long winding Waimao valley. The Center shares the
stream-carved valley with a few human neighbors, wild pigs, two cats, and thousands of birds.

The Palolo complex includes the zendo, the residence hall and kitchen, teacher's quarters, and a small hojo. Covered outdoor walkways link the buildings.


The street address is 2747 Waiomao Road. Waiomao branches off 10th Avenue a few blocks up-valley from Palolo Elementary School. The road narrows at the end and winds along the side of a steep hill. Drive slowly and watch for oncoming cars.

There is parking on the center grounds.
